45th youth in life

Rather rushing for me this morning as I left my bed only around 7:30am. It took me over an hour to prepare. Wenwen and I are both selected to go for Food Hygiene Course (FHC) *Not that we’re dirty okay! Yup, how old am I and already attending courses like this, you might thought.

The clock struck 9:30am when we reach Bugis station. We took a taxi there because late comers will not be entertained! Initially, we all thought the course would be very dull and boring, so my mind was ranting and ranting. However, it was quite interesting! But that was only before lunch. -.-  Our teacher/lecturer, James Tan advises us to use hello kitty plasters as it can be seen clearly if the plaster dropped into the pot of soup you’re cooking for example. He too, mentioned many important points like milk and diary products have to be stored below 7oC and that our famous Chicken rice n sausages are pretty dangerous. Maybe you should refrain from eating sausages. Because people killed animals but they did not remove their lungs, hearts, bones etc. And so, they send it straight to the machine to mince them. In other words, you might be eating their lungs, bones or even hearts! EWW, DISGUSTING!

Anyway, we had 49 super MCQs, one sandwich assessment and lastly, one F1 speed oral. Everything was delayed till 7pm n we got into a silver cab to meet mummy. It’s er bday btw! Speaking of sandwich, all of us prepared a fantastic sandwich, as requested. Bread + one small small small portion of cabbage, and u are done. Also, we have to wash our hands repeatedly. When James Tan briefly remind us on the steps, majority of the hawker groups always say “Wash ur hands…” Next step? “Wash your hands…” They only remember this line. Cute isn’t it!

Had dinner at E!Hub. We ordered many items but we paid only $7.70 in total. We really did order a lot food n we used only one $20 birthday voucher. There isn’t any discount for us anyway!

After haagen-dazs and my hair spa, we took cab back to Tampines. Wenwen dropped me at Nihon Tamp so I can take back my apron which I left it there yesterday, while she continued her journey back home.
